Hello! We have recently launched an updated version of the 'Simple Moon Phase Widget' app. The new version includes enhancements such as a improved calendar with various background choices, additional data, MoonSign, and information on Mercury retrograde. The most exciting feature is that it is very lightweight and allows you to receive notifications without having to set up the widget on your home screen. You can experiment with different moon colors at no cost, but please note that changing the moon color requires a paid subscription.

The application has many impressive features, such as when you click on a date in the calendar, it brings you to a screen with a large image of the moon. You can access various information there, like the age of the moon, its distance, the percentage of it that is illuminated, and even its rising and setting times. Additionally, it provides details on other things like the Moon sign and whether Mercury is going into retrograde. What's more, it also sends notifications for full moons, new moons, first quarters, and last quarters directly to your status bar! Furthermore, the widget can be resized to your preference. And if that wasn't enough, there is even a memo function on the calendar. How neat!

The app requires permission to access your storage and location. It does not automatically change your wallpaper, so you will need to manually find and set the wallpaper. Also, please note that the app does not have an image that perfectly mimics the moon's wobbly movement. The position of the moon phase pattern, including its craters, may slightly shift over time.

Features

This is a simple moon phase calendar with no extra features. And you know what? We've added a widget for you too! Now you can easily monitor the lunar phases directly from your home screen. Pretty cool, right?
