The ActiveCaptain app is a convenient and free app that connects your mobile device to Garmin chartplotters, charts, maps, and the boating community. With this app, you can easily transfer and view charts, maps, updates, routes, waypoints, and feedback from other ActiveCaptain users wirelessly. Additionally, the OnDeck hub allows you to monitor your boat's status from anywhere. However, please note that this app is intended to complement a Garmin chartplotter rather than serve as a standalone navigation tool.

The application contains some fantastic features that you will enjoy. One of these features is called ONECHART, which provides access to excellent Garmin Navionics+ and premium Garmin Navionics Vision+ maps. Additionally, it includes a helpful Auto Guidance+ feature to assist you in navigating expertly. What's more, you will receive a full year of daily updates with the app.

Additionally, the application provides easy software updates, the OnDeck hub for monitoring and managing multiple switches, access to the Garmin Quickdraw Community for downloading the latest 1' HD contour maps, and smart notifications for viewing calls, messages, and other notifications on your chartplotter screen while keeping your phone protected from water.
