The best part is that you won't lose your place in line. Additionally, you will receive text notifications when your wait time reaches 15 minutes, prompting you to head to the salon. This useful feature is available for most services except perms and fancy updos and can be accessed on any device with internet connection. It's incredibly convenient!

In order to utilize Online Check-In, simply tap the Search icon to locate a nearby hair salon. Then click on the Check In button, enter your name and phone number, and tap Check In again to add yourself to the waitlist. After checking in, you can monitor the countdown for your estimated wait time and head to the salon when it's close to your turn. It is important to note that the estimated wait time is based on receiving the next available stylist, but their schedules are not shared for safety and privacy reasons.

You are able to check in online during the salon's operating hours, with the exception of the initial five minutes. If you arrive right when it opens, there is a chance you could be checked in immediately. Be sure to complete the check-in process at least 30 minutes before closing time. Even if it is closing time, you can still receive a haircut, but online check-ins are no longer available. If you decide to change your plans, simply tap "Cancel check-in" to cancel at any time.

Don't have a mobile device? No problem! You can still check in for your haircut at greatclips.com using any device with internet access. Simply visit the website, select Find a Salon or Check In, and input your postal code or address. And if you're not online, just visit any salon and add your name to the list. It's that easy!
