Setting up the Aterm series router for Wi-Fi is simple - just scan the 'Easy QR Start QR Code' with the app. This code contains all the necessary information, such as the network name and password, making it both convenient and secure to use. Additionally, if you have an Aterm product that supports 'Easy QR Start 2', you can also establish your Wi-Fi and internet connection through the app. The app is compatible with Android 4.4 or higher and can be utilized on smartphones and tablets equipped with Google Play and a camera.
Before you begin using the app, be sure to consult the product manual for the QR code's location. Additionally, verify that your device's camera has autofocus and a high resolution. If you encounter difficulty scanning the QR code, attempt adjusting the camera's position, lighting, or surroundings. And remember to update your Aterm firmware and ensure that the product is not in child or relay mode.
To begin using the 'Easy QR Start 2' feature, you may need to enter your ID and password for the PPPoE router mode. After that, simply wait for about 10 minutes while the settings take effect. If there is an IP address conflict when connecting to the internet, don't worry! Just go to Aterm's web configuration screen and resolve it. And if you encounter any issues, double-check your settings or reset your Aterm to its original factory settings. Easy as pie!
Please be aware that the app may not function correctly if used in bridge mode, access point mode, or with a multi-level router setup. If you have any inquiries or experience any issues, don't hesitate to contact us.
