Hello everyone, PdaNet+ has released version 5.10 with some significant changes that you should be aware of before updating. Also, remember to update the Windows side as well.
If you still require the original WiFi Hotspot feature, you can locate it in the separate FoxFi app. However, it may not be compatible with newer phone models due to updates from your carrier. Even if it does work, there could still be limitations on data usage. Fortunately, there is a solution called WiFi Direct Hotspot that can address both of these issues. Just remember that this new feature is not intended for gaming devices, TVs, or TV streaming devices. On a positive note, the USB mode is compatible with all Android phones (except for certain ZTE/Alcatel models) and allows you to connect to Windows or Mac computers. Additionally, there is a convenient 'WiFi Share' feature that can transform your Windows computer into a WiFi Hotspot for sharing your PdaNet Internet with other devices.
Whether you need PdaNet+ depends on your phone's data plan. Most carriers offer four different types of plans. If your plan is in categories 1 or 2, you will need to use PdaNet+. However, if your plan falls under categories 3 or 4, using PdaNet+ will not have any impact. If you are unsure of which category your plan falls under, it is recommended to use PdaNet+. The free version of PdaNet+ has a usage time limit but is otherwise similar to the full version. It is worth noting that Sprint and AT&T may not allow you to download the app from the Play Store. In such cases, you can either download the apk file directly from their website or install it from your computer.
Hey everyone, exciting news! PdaNet+ has released version 5.10 with some fantastic updates that you should be aware of before updating. The most exciting addition is the new feature called 'WiFi Direct Hotspot' which allows you to connect your computer or tablet to your phone using WiFi. How cool is that?
Do you want to use your smartphone to connect your computer or tablet to the internet? Don't worry, there's no need to root your phone for that!
