SMS Backup & Restore is a fantastic application that creates a duplicate of all your text messages, multimedia messages, and call logs. You can also use it to retrieve old messages and call logs from previous backups. This app offers excellent features such as backing up data directly on your device, automatically saving everything to the cloud, setting up regular backup schedules, and easily searching through your backups. It is compatible with Android 5.0 and newer versions, but it requires permission to access your messages, calls, contacts, storage, network, social media information, and start with your phone. Additionally, it needs to remain active to prevent interruptions while performing its tasks and ensure access to protected storage as well.

SECTION 2:

The application has the ability to transfer backups to a different phone, free up storage space on the phone, send backup files via email, and view the XML backup on a computer. It is important to note that this app can only restore backups created by itself. Therefore, it is recommended to store a copy of the backup in a location other than your phone before performing a factory reset.
