WPSApp is an amazing app that allows you to check the security of your network using your phone. It utilizes the WPS protocol, enabling you to connect to WiFi networks using a pre-set 8-digit pin on your router. The app tests these pins to determine if the network is vulnerable. Additionally, it offers various methods for generating pins and includes default options. Furthermore, it can identify default keys for specific routers, display saved WiFi passwords on your device, show connected devices on your network, and assess WiFi signal strength across different channels. Essentially, it serves as a handy security inspector for your WiFi that fits right in your pocket!
When you scan the networks nearby, those with a red cross are considered "secure" because they have disabled the WPS protocol and the default password is unknown. Networks with a question mark have enabled the WPS protocol, but the pin is unknown. In this situation, our app allows you to test common pins. Networks with a green check mark are likely vulnerable as they have the WPS protocol enabled and we know the pin. However, not all networks are vulnerable! Just because a network appears vulnerable doesn't mean it is certain. Some companies have updated their router firmware to address this issue.
From Android 6 (Marshmallow) onwards, you must grant permission for location access. This is a new requirement introduced by Google in the latest update. Some Samsung devices encrypt passwords by displaying hexadecimal digits instead of the actual password. On LG models running Android 7 (Nougat), using pin connection is not supported. Before leaving a review, make sure you understand how the app functions. If you have any feedback, issues, or ideas, feel free to send them our way.

WPSApp is a very useful tool for checking the security of your network. It is easy to use and provides information on the vulnerability of other networks nearby. The app is regularly updated with new algorithms and default pins. However, it should not be used for malicious purposes as not all networks are easily accessible. Additionally, some users may be bothered by the app's request for location permissions.
A cool team of people developed the app, and their names are listed in the app description. Special thanks to Zhao Chunsheng, Stefan Viehböck, Justin Oberdorf, Kcdtv, Patcher, Coeman76, Craig, Wifi-Libre, Lampiweb, David Jenne, Alessandro Arias, Sinan Soytürk, Ehab HoOoba, drygdryg, and Daniel Mota de Aguiar Rodrigues. You can download the app from the Google Play Store and it has been receiving great reviews from users.
Ensure that your WiFi is protected. Are there any unauthorized users on your network? What about the security of the WPS protocol?
