Using WiFi calling is a convenient feature that allows you to make phone calls through a Wi-Fi network instead of depending on your carrier's signal. This feature is especially useful in areas with poor carrier coverage, such as rural locations or buildings with weak reception. Major carriers like T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon offer WiFi calling as part of their services. Additionally, customers of Republic Wireless or Google Project Fi can also utilize WiFi calling on select devices. However, it's important to note that using WiFi calling may impact your regular minutes allowance depending on your carrier and phone plan.
The WiFi Calling Setting app is designed to assist you in activating the 'Wifi Calling' feature on mobile phones that do not have a menu option to enable it. This app can detect if the hidden function is available and activate it if possible. Simply open the app, tap on 'Wifi Calling Setting,' select 'WLAN calling,' enable the 'ENABLE' option for WLAN calling, and choose 'WLAN preferred.' If you encounter any compatible or incompatible phone models or experience any issues, please report them to the app developers. They are constantly working to improve the app based on user feedback.
