This keyboard is similar to a standard one, featuring number keys, punctuation in the usual places, and arrow keys. It is modeled after the AOSP Gingerbread soft keyboard and allows for the use of multiple fingers for modifier keys. It is ideal for those using ConnectBot for SSH access as it includes functioning Tab/Ctrl/Esc keys. The arrow keys are essential if your device lacks a trackball or D-Pad. Additionally, you can also utilize dictionaries from AnySoftKeyboard language packs with this keyboard!

However, there are some issues with the keyboard. For example, not all different layouts have been localized yet. This means that if your phone does not have the necessary fonts, certain languages and layouts may not function properly. Additionally, older devices before Honeycomb may not fully support right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew. Furthermore, many apps may not be able to recognize or utilize the extra keys because they were not designed to accommodate them.
